Performance Analyzer Version 1.01 for Microsoft Dynamics

Just wanted to share with you that there is a new version of DynamicsPerf out, actually it has been out for a while.
There are numerous bug fixes in version 1.01, amongst others some important ones in the AX Trace integration/ analyzer part.

Please be advised that there is a bug/ typo. The typo is in the script “CreateDynamicsPerfObjects”, open it in Notepad and goto line 3685. This line says “,EVENTRENAMEKEY, ” and should be “,EVENTRENAMEKEY” – if you don’t fix it Capture_Stats will run with errors.

It still doesn’t work. You are saying to remove the comma in front of EVENTRENAMEKEY, correct?

  2. sams says:

    This is the error message:
    Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Line 21
    Incorrect syntax near ‘,’.
    Msg 319, Level 15, State 1, Line 22
Incorrect syntax near the keyword ‘with’. If this statement is a common table expression, an xmlnamespaces clause or a change tracking context clause, the previous statement must be terminated with a semicolon.

lines 3684 to 3686 now look like this:
    ,EVENTUPDATE
    EVENTRENAMEKEY,
    ,TABLEGROUP

    • Ah same error I got, that is because you should leave the comma in front and remove the one in the tail… like this:
      ,EVENTUPDATE
      ,EVENTRENAMEKEY
      ,TABLEGROUP

Sorry error in my article on this matter ๐Ÿ™‚
